    Short version: We collect an anonymous device ID, your in-game company name, and gameplay statistics to power the leaderboard and cloud save. We will collect advertising identifiers if you see ads, and purchase receipts if you buy gems. We do not collect your real name, email, phone number, or any sensitive personal data.

2c. Advertising data (when ads are enabled)

Cruise Tycoon displays optional rewarded ads powered by Google AdMob. When ads are active, Google may collect:

A mobile advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID, or Apple IDFA on iOS) — a resettable, anonymous device identifier
IP address (used to determine approximate country for ad targeting)
Device type, OS version, and app version
Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

Google's use of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and Google Ads Policy. You can reset or opt out of personalised ads at any time: on Android under Settings → Privacy → Ads, and on iOS under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking (on iOS we also ask your permission before any ad uses your advertising identifier).

2d. Purchase data (when real-money purchases are available)

Gem packs and the Ad-Free unlock are processed by the platform store — Google Play Billing on Android and the Apple App Store on iOS — and validated through our purchases provider, RevenueCat, which receives a purchase token/receipt and your anonymous player ID. We never see your payment card details, billing address, or store account information. Payment handling is governed by the Google Payments Privacy Notice, the Apple Privacy Policy, and the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Your Data

Display your company name and score on the global leaderboard
Back up your game save so you can restore progress on a new device
Detect and prevent cheating (we validate that scores are plausible given gameplay statistics)
Serve and measure ads (via Google AdMob, when applicable)
Verify gem purchases and grant in-game currency

We do not sell your data to third parties, use it for marketing outside the game, or combine it with data from other apps.

4. Data Retention

Leaderboard entry: retained indefinitely unless you delete your data (see Section 6)
Cloud save: retained indefinitely to protect your progress
Ad data: governed by Google's own retention policies
Purchase tokens: retained for up to 3 years for dispute resolution

5. Data Sharing

We share data only with:

Google AdMob — for ad delivery and measurement (when ads are active)
Google Play Billing / Apple App Store — for processing purchases
RevenueCat — for purchase validation and entitlement management
Our hosting provider — who stores the leaderboard and save database on our behalf

We do not share data with any other third parties.

6. Your Rights — Deleting Your Data

You can delete all data associated with your device at any time:

In-app: Go to Settings → Clear save data. This deletes your local save and your device ID, which also removes your leaderboard entry on the next sync.
By email: Email us at rvgamingapp@gmail.com with your player ID (found in Settings) and we will delete all server-side data within 30 days.

EU/UK residents have additional rights under GDPR including the right to access, correct, and port your data. California residents have rights under CCPA. Contact us using the email above to exercise these rights.

7. Children

Cruise Tycoon is rated Everyone (3+) and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

If you are under 13, please ask a parent or guardian before playing and before making any in-app purchases.

8. Security

All data transmitted to our server uses HTTPS. Our leaderboard database stores only anonymous gameplay statistics — no passwords or payment information. We use server-side plausibility checks to detect and reject manipulated scores.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when new features (such as ads or in-app purchases) are added. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the game after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
